Provident Network History of Events

 March 3, 2007  Regional Meeting

Nappanee, Indiana

The Northern Indiana, Northern Ohio, and Michigan Regional Meeting was held at Amish Acres in Nappanee, Indiana.  The breakfast was served Amish family-style and was enjoyed by all in attendance.  The meeting began at 9:30 a.m. and was over at 12 Noon.

Pastor Steve Sumrall shared a message and gave everyone an update on the activities of Provident Ministries.  He shared about the ministries of Christ Chapel and of Feeding The Nations.  A video presentation about the world-wide activities of FTN was shown.  Pastor Steve also told about the growth of Provident Network and asked everyone to share with their minister acquaintances about the opportunities and benefits of joining with us.

Everyone departed full of good Amish food and the Word of God.  Keep an eye out for the announcement of a Regional Meeting coming to your area.

 May 5,  2007  Regional Meeting
Greenwood, Indiana

There was a Regional Meeting for Southern Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky & Tennessee held on May 5,  2007 at Jonathan Bryd's Cafeteria in Greenwood, Indiana.  We had lunch and a terrific meeting with Pastor Steve Sumrall giving an overview of what is going on at Provident Ministries.  Pastor Steve also shared the Word of God with those in attendance.  There was a great time of fellowship among the members of Provident Network and we were blessed to have several guests who made application to become a part of the Network.

We are planning several more Regional Meetings around the United States so be ready for one near you.

2007 SUMMIT

            Summit 2007 In Review

Summit 2007 was a tremendous time of refreshing!  We were blessed to have in attendance Provident Network members from Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Florida, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Indiana.

Friday evening and continuing Saturday morning; the Lord ministered to us through the teaching of Jess Gibson, Pastor of Cornerstone Church from Springfield Missouri.  We were privileged to experience the unique and powerful music ministry of Paul Wilbur in concert both Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

We had a great luncheon Saturday afternoon with a wonderful opportunity for our Network members to fellowship together.  Following the luncheon the focus of our meeting was Christian website construction and maintenance.  Our Network members heard informative tips on building and improving their websites.

Plans are underway for Summit 2008.  Watch for announcements on our website and in our upcoming quarterly news letter The Compass.

It is not to early to make plans to attend Summit 2008

We'll see you there!
